A. They were all Hugh Laurie.
While rowing for Cambridge and studying Anthropology, the multi-talented Hugh Laurie discovered his flair as a sketch comedian. As a member of the seminal Cambridge Footlights comedy revue, he allied himself with life-long friend and partner in comedy, Stephen Fry. Together they reached fame in the cast of British television phenonemon Blackadder — as well as in another series as the the inimitable Jeeves and Wooster.
Now audiences know Hugh Laurie as the irascible Dr. House, for which he’s received numerous kudos, but Hugh is a real DaVinci. Before he was House, Hugh was known for many films, Britcoms, and voice-over work. Hugh wrote the best-selling thriller The Gun Seller and a second is in the works. He’s also penned numerous satirical songs
Along the way, Hugh mastered the guitar and piano and picked up the harmonica and saxophone too. Beside other television notables, Hugh can be found playing keyboards in the “Band from TV”. He’s tickled the ivories on Meat Loaf’s new album and recently Hugh signed a deal to release a blues album of his own.
Talented, funny, athletic and musical, Hugh Laurie’s got it all. And then some. And then some more…
